Job Description:

As an Emergency Department Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in their time of need. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your skills, expertise, and compassion will make a significant impact. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing, triaging, and prioritizing patients based on their condition and severity.
• Administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by the medical team.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress and vital signs.
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Participating in emergency procedures and interventions as needed.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse qualification with current registration in Australia.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
• Triage trained
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
