Hand Therapist

If you are a registered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who, through continuing education, clinical experience and independent study have become proficient in the treatment of upper extremity conditions resulting from trauma, disease and congenital deformity we would love to hear from you.

Auckland based position – Clinic location is negotiable!

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess hand and upper extremity conditions.
• Create personalized treatment plans.
• Provide rehabilitation exercises and therapies.
• Design and fit custom splints.
• Manage wound care and post-operative treatment.
• Address pain management techniques.
• Educate patients on their condition and self-care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Engage in continuing education to stay updated.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a senior capacity.
• Experience in leadership/mentorship roles.
• Hand therapy certification.
• Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board.
• Hand Therapy membership.
