Skills and Experience:
- Current APHRA Registration
- New Graduate and Experienced Nurses accepted.
- Proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision-making capability.
- Ability and commitment to working as part of the team.
- Demonstrated high level of analytical, written and verbal skills.
Role Summary:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to elderly residents in a compassionate manner.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and condition, identifying any changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.
- Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing aged care nursing practice.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
